Meet MegalanApplication Manager 

Hi, my name is Megalan Indrathasan, and I work as an Application Manager at Plukon Denmark. I manage and support business applications that are essential for our daily operations, including the ERP system that connects logistics, finance and production. 
What I like most about my job is that no day is the same. Alongside my regular responsibilities, I work on projects, help colleagues with ad hoc questions and get the freedom to explore different areas within IT. That variety, combined with the people around me, is what makes my work enjoyable.

Megalans workdayI like coming to the office and starting the day togetherI usually start my day at eight o’clock with a coffee and a quick check of the IT helpdesk tickets. After that, our team gathers for a daily stand-up meeting to discuss what happened yesterday and what’s coming up. 
The rest of the day depends on what’s needed: solving application issues, working on documentation, or supporting colleagues who walk in with questions. 
Ad hoc tasks are part of the job, and that’s exactly what keeps it interesting. Within the IT team, we help each other, even across different roles.
