Meet ChristianMaintenance Technician

Hi, my name is  Christian Erik Pederse, and I work as a Maintenance Technician at Plukon. I have been working in maintenance at the factory since 2008. My job is all about keeping production running: fixing breakdowns when they happen and preventing them through regular maintenance. 
No day is ever the same. Sometimes I spend most of my shift on planned maintenance, while other days I’m called straight to the factory because something has stopped working. What I value most is the atmosphere on the work floor and the people I work with every day.

Christians workdayGood colleagues make you want to get out of bedI work different shifts, including day, afternoon and night shifts. My favourite shift is from 7 to 3. 
When there’s a breakdown, the factory calls the maintenance team directly and one of us goes to check what’s going on. 
On quieter days, I focus on preventive maintenance to keep the machines running smoothly. 
At night, I work with a small team, usually a mechanic and an electrician. The work can be busy and unpredictable, but that’s exactly what makes it interesting.

At the same time, it keeps the work environment evolving and moving forward. I feel Plukon is a good place to work.
