Production Assistant – Day Shift

About the role

As a Production Assistant, you’ll be a key part of the operations team with responsibility for the daily flow and on-line leadership of the production line. You will report to the Department Manager and work closely with both management and colleagues across shifts.

Your primary responsibilities:

• Coordinate staffing, breaks, and ensure a smooth production flow

• Lead and motivate employees with a focus on cooperation, development, and well-being

• Ensure quality, order, and cleanliness around the line

• Train colleagues and follow up on routines and work processes

• Reduce waste and ensure correct registration of deviations

• Contribute to good communication between shifts and with the leadership team

• Handle daily start-up and shut-down of production

About you

You enjoy responsibility and a high work tempo—and ideally have experience from a production company where you’ve had practical, hands-on responsibility close to operations. Experience from the food industry is an advantage, not a requirement.

• Can build followership and keep the overview, even when things move fast

• Are visible and present on the shop floor

• Communicate clearly and respectfully—even at a high pace

• Have basic IT skills and preferably experience with rota planning and time registration

• Work well with colleagues across nationalities and meet others with respect and curiosity

Working hours: Day shift approx. 03:30 – 12:00 (flexibility expected)
